From the journey to this refuge, visitors will enjoy impressive panoramic views of the valleys and mountains that characterize this region of Antioquia. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed into a carefully preserved natural environment, where they can walk along ecological trails through native forest and learn about the importance of hummingbird conservation and their fundamental role in ecosystems.

Meeting with participants and ground transfer to Guarne, enjoying the mountainous landscapes of Eastern Antioquia. - Approx. 1-hour drive – Arrival at the Hummingbird House
Reception and welcome by the host team. - 2-hour program at the Hummingbird House:
- Free walk around the site and through the native forest
- Guided walk along ecological trails to learn about local flora, the importance of Andean forests, and the region’s biodiversity
- Educational talk about hummingbirds
- Presentation on species found in the area, their behavior, feeding habits, migratory processes, and conservation actions
- Close interactive experience with hummingbirds
Main highlight of the tour, where visitors can feed hummingbirds directly from their hands and observe them at very close range (approx. 15 minutes) - Free time for photography and birdwatching
